This Canyon Cat 27RBSC by Palomino offers a spacious travel trailer with sleeping for eight. This unit features a large slide out, bunk beds with multiple bunk options, and all the standard amenities needed to enjoy family time away from home!
Step inside and be greeted by a wide open living and kitchen area with the large slide out sofa with overhead cabinets above and booth dinette fully extended. There is an entertainment center off to the right of the entry door that can easily be viewed from any seating in the room.
There is a front bedroom which features a comfortable queen size bed with shirt closets on both sides, plus an overhead shelf for additional storage. You can pull closed accordion doors on either side of the entertainment center for more privacy in the bedroom at night.
To the left of the door there is a double kitchen sink, a three burner range, refrigerator, and a pantry for dry good storage and more. You will find plenty of overhead cabinets plus lower cupboards and drawers for storage in the kitchen and throughout.
The rear left corner features a double stacked double size bunk beds with storage underneath. You may choose the optional single 28" x 76" bunk above a double bed below with shirt closet instead. An accordion door can be pulled shut to provide more privacy at night if you like.
The opposite corner features a convenient bath with tub/shower, toilet, and a sink.
You can also choose to add an outside kitchen with bumper mount grill including a refrigerator, pull-out drawer above the pull-out sink, plus much more inside and out!

As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors.
In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been.
The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino.
